Arriving at Mirissa
The journey to Mirissa was a joy, with the scenic southern coast roads offering glimpses of palm-lined beaches and turquoise waters. I arrived at Mirissa early in the evening and spent the night listening to the waves crashing against the shore, eagerly anticipating the next morning's adventure.
Setting Off at Dawn
The whale-watching tour began at the crack of dawn. By 6 am, I was aboard a sturdy boat with a small group of excited fellow travellers. The air was crisp, and the ocean seemed endless as the ship gently cruised from the harbour. The Encounter with Whales
