Alternatively, I learned that the route from Kiribathkumbura along Nelligala Road offers equally picturesque views, making the journey part of the spiritual experience.
As I reached the hilltop, the cool breeze, crisp air, and the panoramic views of the Knuckles Mountain Range and Alagalla welcomed me. The surroundings whispered a promise of serenity—and it certainly delivered.
First Impressions: Golden Serenity Against Blue Skies
Stepping into Nelligala Temple, I was immediately struck by the architectural magnificence. Shimmering under the sun, the golden stupa stood tall against the deep blue sky, creating a stunning contrast that calmed my soul.
