My visit to Fa Hien Cave, locally known as Pahiyangala Cave, in the Kalutara district was nothing short of awe-inspiring. This incredible natural limestone cave, the largest in South Asia, offered me an unforgettable glimpse into the lives of prehistoric humans who inhabited it over 60,000 years ago. Reaching the Cave I began my journey from Kalutara town, just about 10 kilometres away from the cave.
