During my journey through Ahungalla, I was privileged to visit Kothduwa Temple, a tranquil Buddhist sanctuary on an island in the Madhu Ganga River. Unlike many other temples in Sri Lanka, reaching this sacred site was an experience, as I had to take a boat ride across the calm, reflective waters of the river.
