Adventurous travellers can also trek from Madolsima to Kohonawala, a remote and secluded village hidden between towering hills, where time seems to stand still.

Embracing the Tranquility of Galamuduna

What makes Galamuduna Temple truly special is its seclusion and serenity. Shielded by encircling mountains, the temple and its nearby villages receive limited sunlight, adding to the mystical atmosphere. There was an overwhelming sense of peace as if the world outside had faded away.
