- Through Tea Estates – After passing Bogawanthalawa town, I took a detour towards Bogawana Estate, where the trek truly begins.
- Final Stretch – I parked near the Bogawana Tea Factory, where a 900-meter climb through dense forest leads to an open grassland revealing the magnificent Haritha Kanda.
A 4WD vehicle is recommended, as some parts of the route are rough. If you’re unsure about the directions, local villagers are incredibly helpful—ask for “Bopath Thalawa” rather than Haritha Kanda, as they are more familiar with that name.
